Alpha

Alpha loves to be petted and to explore. She’s young (about 10 months), and vocal. She’s the sweetest cat I’ve yet known — she never showed any tendency to damage furniture, keeps herself very tidy, and was a wonderful mother to her two kittens Elenie and McKinley. She stayed with me for 52 days, during which time she regained her health, nursed and cared for her kittens, and waited patiently for them to find loving homes. 9 days after her last kitten had left the nest, on July 28th, 2011, she was adopted by a good friend of mine.

She wasn’t a good fit for her new home, and she went back to Town Lake Animal Center, but on August 30th she finally found her forever home. Nice job, Alpha!
